Frequently Asked Questions

  • Not many therapists can accurately identify and work with high-functioning women with ADHD. Instead, they mistakenly diagnose them with anxiety or depression. So, chances are, you probably found out about your ADHD later in life and maybe even by accident.

Most ADHD coaches only focus on organization, time management, and productivity tools and strategies. While these things are important, they're not enough for business owners.

Business coaches, for the most part, have no training in mental health or neurodiversity. When they work with an entrepreneur with ADHD, they label them as "uncoachable" if they don't conform to their neurotypical expectations.

Due to these realities, most business owners with ADHD feel like they aren't understood or can't relate to most therapists and coaches. This further frustrates them and they end up wasting money and time, feeling misunderstood and alone.

My focus is on developing my client's self-awareness, helping them create an ADHD-friendly environment and lifestyle (not just managing symptoms), and directly addressing struggles with low self-esteem, perfectionism, imposter syndrome, co-dependency, overthinking, second-guessing, indecisiveness, shame resiliency, and procrastination.

  • Most of my clients have already tried to figure things out on their own, with mixed results. They've bought a few courses, joined coaching programs and groups, and most have gone to therapy to address their past issues. Some of them with ADHD are on medication or have worked with an ADHD coach, while others haven't.

By the time they find me and decide to work together, they've already launched their business, attracted clients, and have a decent flow of money coming in. It could be a few years or even up to ten years since they started. Some have remained true soloists, while others have a team.

What they all have in common are these things:

~They absolutely love what they're doing, but they know they can't keep working so hard for the amount of money they're making.

~They realize that they're not fully utilizing their unique talents to stand out and shine in their industry.

~Their ADHD tendencies, like procrastination, perfectionism, people-pleasing, overthinking, overcomplicating, rejection sensitivity, and inconsistency, are causing obstacles and pushing them towards burnout.

~They recognize things are not going to change without guidance, support & accountability from a trusted advisor who really cares about their success

If this sounds like you, we should definitely talk. I offer a free consultation to discuss your unique situation and how I can help you.

  • You probably already know that there are tons of ways to manage your ADHD and I bet you have a bunch of books on your bookshelf or iPad to prove it. Maybe you've even worked with an ADHD coach or therapist and you might have a bunch of business courses and coaching programs sitting unfinished or unopened on your laptop, just gathering digital dust.

But here's the thing - being successful in business is about more than just picking a niche, choosing a business model, and creating an offer. It's about having the right mindset and skills to deal with things like fear, uncertainty, doubt, imposter syndrome, fear of failure, and comparing yourself to your competition, while making decisions and moving forward.

That's where I come in. I'm really good at helping my clients uncover the hidden beliefs that are holding them back and causing them to self-sabotage or miss out on opportunities. I also excel at helping them simplify their business, their offers, and their marketing so they don't burn out.

If you've ever wished for a coach who understands both the business side and the psychological side of being an entrepreneur, and who also has a ton of experience with ADHD, then I'm THE coach for you.

  • It's hard to say because everyone starts at different levels of self-awareness, motivation and skill. But what I do know is that the more effort you put in, the more you'll get out of it (like most things in life, ya know?)

I will not invite you to become a client unless I’m confident that you will make significant progress in transforming your business and your mindset during our time together.

One thing I can say for sure is that if you work with me, you'll gain more self-awareness and skill than any other business or ADHD coach I know. I'll teach you how to manage your time, energy, and focus. Plus, I'll help you boost your emotional intelligence, make better decisions, and figure out why you're not where you wanna be, and how to fix it.

I'll also help you see what makes you and your business special, and how to use that to stand out and make more money.

How fast you pick up these skills is up to you. Just remember, 12 weeks isn't that long. It's even shorter than a single semester in an American university! But if you're motivated, you'll be blown away by the difference just three months can make.

Everything I'll teach you is a mix of business strategy, ADHD mastery and mindset. It's like the playbook for being an entrepreneur with ADHD. We'll start by figuring out where you're at in a few important areas, then we'll start building the skills you need to level up. And guess what? Every change we make will benefit both you and your business.

This program provides the guidance, support, and someone to keep you accountable so you keep pushing forward. And hey, if we get close to the end of our 12 weeks together and we both feel like you could use more time, we can talk about extending our program. Cool, right?

  • My pricing is based on skill, experience and results. I've been helping people for a long time - first as a therapist for over 20 years and now as a coach for the past 7 years. I’ve also launched businesses with my current and previous husbands and have been self employed since 2010.

The clients who get the most out of working with me are the ones who are so ready to tackle whatever is holding them back like their hair is on fire and I'm a bucket of water.

I've been that kind of client myself, and I've also been the one who had doubts and reservations from the start. When I made a real investment in the process (both mentally and financially) I got the kind of results that were worth double the price.

There are plenty of coaches who will let you sign up for their program and pay thousands of dollars with just a click of a button, without even meeting you. I insist on having a free consultation before inviting someone to work with me. That way, I can make sure I'm the right coach for them and that they're ready to achieve amazing things by working with me.

If you're absolutely certain that I'm the coach for you but can't afford to work with me, I invite you to join my email list, read my weekly blog posts, and listen to my podcast - all completely free of charge.

  • Making the decision to invest in your growth is an important one, and it is not unusual for you to have "second thoughts" after you have decided. This is just the brain acknowledging that change is ahead.

The first three steps are: signing the client agreement, paying the invoice and scheduling out coaching calls. Then, you will complete a brief pre-work questionnaire to establish our goals and focus.

All coaching calls take place on the Zoom platform. All calls are recorded in both audio and video formats. You will receive both the transcript and a summary, with links to the video file, for reference.

You will be given instructions for how to download and use the Voxer app, if you decide to do so. Voxer is the free walkie-talkie smartphone app that allows you to connect with me between coaching calls. Most of my clients find it extremely helpful for quick check ins and accountability.

Together, we uncover their strengths and use them to their advantage in business. We eliminate everything else that's causing them to overwork and head towards burnout. From my experience, these are usually the biggest obstacles to self-esteem and success for entrepreneurs with ADHD. And honestly, these are the areas where I excel as a coach and mentor.
